    · The automatic sliding door is easily open on the passenger side either via the remote or the dedicated driver's controls on the dash. If someone wishes to enter or exit the car, they only need to pull on the handle and the car will do the rest!

    · Built-in second-row window sunshades for the comfort of the wheelchair passenger, this vehicle has been fitted with factory optioned sun blinds for second-row window, simply pull the tab up and over the hooks at the top of the window to almost block the sun coming completely into the rear of the vehicle.

     

    Mobility Features

    Wheelchair Features This is a Japanese Toyota factory-designed, engineered installed sloper and aluminium ramp. Accordingly, the fitment and quality are perfect and when activated, the rear of the car lowers (hence the name Sloper). The ramp when lowered is at an optimal angle for the wheelchair person to easily navigate up and down the reduced incline.

    Voxy has sets of retractable belts that are operated by a switch, the rear ones are powered with optimal tension to secure the wheelchair. The belts are placed around the wheelchair while it is at the base of the ramp. This is a great example of Toyota engineers’ commitment to producing Welcab features which truly help make life easier for wheelchair passengers and their carers.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING 

    1. Measurements:

    Measure the person while seated in their wheelchair. You will need to measure height (from the floor to the top of their head), length and width of the chair.

    Check the measurements with the wheelchair accessible cars below so you can make sure the person is going to comfortably fit.

    Remember that every wheelchair is different, so make sure you are careful with the measurements.

    2. Number of Passengers:

    Know in advance the number of passengers that will be traveling with you plus measurements of any large luggage like hoists or commodes.
